Mr. Price is a Land Use Planner and represents a diverse range of clients in all facets of planning including entitlement permits, due diligence, project/site design, environmental review, condition compliance, and project management. Chris has extensive experience in both the private and public sectors, and his experience with local land use agencies make him a valuable asset to the firm and our clients. Prior to joining Price, Postel & Parma, Mr. Price was an Analyst with California Coastal Commission from 1990 to 1994. From 1994 to 2004, he was a planner with Santa Barbara County. His varied responsibilities included work with the Comprehensive Planning Division, the Energy Division, and the Development Review Division. Mr. Price managed many complex projects such as the Lot Size Compliance Program, Agricultural Grading Ordinance Amendments, the All American Pipeline Oak Tree Mitigation Program, Federal Oil Transportation Policy revisions, and over 70 complex discretionary development applications. In addition, he has prepared dozens of complex CEQA documents and designed numerous successful mitigation programs.
