Ian M. Shane

EXPERIENCE

Mr. Shane is an associate attorney at Price, Postel & Parma LLP. He provides counsel and representation in a wide range of transactional business, corporate, real estate and trust and estate planning matters handled by the firm. Before joining the firm, Mr. Shane was judicial intern for Justice Berkenkotter of the Colorado Supreme Court.  As a supreme court intern, he analyzed writs of certiorari and recommended approval or denial of writ.

He also worked as a legal intern at the Ways & Means Committee, Trade Subcommittee, for the US House of Representatives, where he drafted and edited legislative bills related to international trade, and analyzed the constitutionality of an Executive Order and corresponding law. While in law school, Mr. Shane was a summer legal intern at a real estate development company, where he analyzed ADU legislation’s effect on a HOA’s CC&R’s, a water-related bill being proposed in the California State legislature, and reviewed an agreement in conjunction with charitable trust & estate planning.
