January 1, 2016: Price, Postel & Parma is pleased to announce that Kristen M. R. Blabey has become a partner of the firm.
Ms. Blabey’s practice includes estate planning, probate, trust administration, taxation, and conservatorship matters. She focuses on all aspects of estate planning including creating trusts, wills, charitable trusts, directives, durable powers of attorney, deeds, designations associated with retirement plans and life insurance, and other estate planning instruments. She facilitates discussions for families regarding wealth preservation, transfers between generations, and strategies for philanthropic giving.
Ms. Blabey was born and raised in Santa Barbara, attending Laguna Blanca School. She earned her B.A. from Middlebury College and her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School before returning to Santa Barbara. She is actively involved in several community organizations including Laguna Blanca School and the Junior League of Santa Barbara. Ms. Blabey speaks frequently to community groups and non-profit boards about the estate planning process and the development of planned giving strategies and programs.
