Price, Postel & Parma congratulates Tim Metzinger on his recent election as president of the Santa Barbara Club.  Founded in 1892 by a group of local ranchers and businessmen, including early Firm partner Jarrett T. Richards, the Santa Barbara Club is the oldest social club on California’s Central Coast, and much of the planning and development of the City of Santa Barbara took place within its clubhouse.  Prominent past members of the Club include Thomas M. Storke, the Pulitzer Prize-winning publisher of the Santa Barbara News-Press; Thomas R. Bard, founder of the Union Oil Company; E.P. Ripley, founder of the Santa Fe Railway; and Congressional Medal of Honor recipient General Pierpont Morgan Hamilton.  Mr. Metzinger is the tenth member of Price, Postel & Parma to serve as president of the Santa Barbara Club over its 128-year history.
