Shannon DeNatale Boyd has joined PP&P as an associate attorney. Her practice involves public entity representation and civil litigation from pre-litigation consultation to resolution, including discovery, law and motion, mediation, trial, and writs and appeals. Ms. Boyd’s background in civil defense gives her the unique advantage of quickly spotting issues for both potential plaintiffs and defendants, and the corresponding skills to resolve these issues. Litigation is the last resort, and Ms. Boyd has extensive experience negotiating to resolve matters as effectively and efficiently as possible. If litigation becomes necessary, Ms. Boyd has the analytical skills to carry cases through trial and appeal. Prior to joining PP&P, Ms. Boyd was an associate attorney at Buynak, Fauver, Archbald & Spray, LLP. Her practice focused on civil litigation and employment law.
Ms. Boyd graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a B.A. in Psychology and Italian Studies. Ms. Boyd received her J.D. in 2010 from the Santa Clara University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. Ms. Boyd is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Order of the Coif.
